On Sunday morning, September 13, 2010 I heard:
“The Spirit of God is the only Real Sustainable Resource”!
Talk about your “green” statement. After reading and quietly waiting upon the Lord, I knew I had a Word from the Spirit – pay attention!
Well, I looked up sustainable and according to my computer dictionary the word means:
1. able to be maintained at a certain rate or level:
2. conserving an ecological balance by avoiding depletion of natural resources
Consider the following scriptures:
Psalm 3:5 “I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.”
Proverbs 18:14 “The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity…”
The “Selah”, the pause and take time to consider the above will cause you to rejoice! The Spirit of God within you is your eternal, infinite,sustainable resource of LIFE-His LIFE! The more you see that the One God – the One who created you is in you – sustaining and giving His LIFE to and through you the greater the manifestation of His LIFE and Power.
As I see it, we have this incredible Power Source within us – the Spirit of God- constantly renewing, energizing, supplying, permeating – ALL we need to sustain us in every way. He is the only REAL RESOURCE! Sustaining all by the word of His power.
We need only to ACCEPT and RECOGNIZE HIM – He does the rest. The government is truly and surely upon His shoulders! Praise thee the Lord!
